Dollinger Family Farm
The gently rolling hills of Dollinger Farm originally served as the location of a small town. In 1836, the area was known as the town of Dresden, before the Dollinger family began farming the land in 1852. Presently, the farm houses a number of historic buildings, including the Mule Barn, Rutherford’s Tavern, and the Milk House.
The Dollinger Family Farm is certainly a great place to visit in the fall, with numerous activities for guests of all ages. You can either witness an impressive Revolutionary War reenactment, enjoy the vibrant autumn scenery on a hayride, or interact with the adorable farm animals on site.

Celebrate America’s rich history when you visit Dollinger Farm this fall. You’ll be taken back to the year 1776, when our young nation fought bravely to free itself from British rule. You’ll see what life was like as you walk through rugged campsites and ancient town buildings.
This fantastic event will begin at 10:00 a.m. on both days. You’ll be able to tour the grounds, participate in a tug-of-war competition, and watch a stunning horse demo. Above all, make your way to the battlefield at 2:00 p.m. sharp on either day to see the heated Battle of Dollinger Farm.
Admission to the battlefield event is $5 for adults and $3 for children. Children under 2 years old can attend for free.
Grab a Tasty Treat
Farm-fresh treats are one of the highlights of visiting Dollinger Family Farm. Stop by the Engine Shop for Grandma Dollinger’s Famous Fudge—a heavenly treat that melts in your mouth. You’ll also enjoy Grandpa John’s donuts and a variety of farm favorites such as candy apples, roasted nuts, fresh popcorn, and hot cider.
If you’d like to have lunch at the farm, the Engine Shop has several savory options to tempt your palate. Steaming burgers, calzones oozing with cheese, and spicy garlic Poor Boys are just a few of the delicious eats waiting for you.
