Enjoy a Delicious Meal at Kat’s Cafe

Healthy American breakfast with Eggs Bacon and Pancakes at Kat's Cafe

There’s nothing quite like a good, old-fashioned American-style meal. With its characteristic aplomb, Kat’s Cafe dishes up the best of American cuisine to Chicagoland residents. This new restaurant, located just 30 minutes from The Woodlands of Crest Hill, is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Visiting Kat’s Cafe

When you step into Kat’s Cafe, you’ll feel like you’re on the set of a sitcom. The servers are friendly, the customers are relaxed, and everything runs smoothly.

On the wall, you’ll see a picture of a cat walking on two feet and carrying a plate. Meanwhile, white coffee cups and elegant chandeliers lend the place a classic diner ambiance. The food is served on simple white plates, and the servers will have your coffee mug refilled before you even notice it’s empty.

The Menu

The menu is extensive without being overwhelming. For breakfast, be sure to try the biscuits and gravy. The sausage gravy is creamy and delicious, and the dish is topped with two eggs to make it extra satisfying.

Another great option is the eggs Benedict; the restaurant really gets the consistency of the Hollandaise sauce right. Of course, meat lovers will want to try breakfast chimichangas and burritos.

For lunch and dinner, Kat’s Cafe offers an assortment of hot and cold sandwiches, paninis, meat & seafood entrees, and skillets. Locals adore the chicken fajita skillet, which comes sizzling hot with chicken breast, peppers, onions, and cheddar cheese. Meanwhile, the corned beef sandwich served on marbled rye, is also a great choice, as is the Italian beef sandwich.

If you’re really hungry, splurge on the chicken parmigiana or the fried shrimp special.
